Northern State Wrestling Room

General Information: The Northern State wrestling room moved to its current location in 2012 as a part of the Barnett Center expansion. The new room more than doubled the practice area for NSU Wrestling, as well as provided for an improved training experience. The room features two full sized double-padded mats, three sides of wall mats, natural lighting with windows facing to the north, four pull-up bars, an assortment of jump ropes, resistance bands, and medicine balls, three bicycles, a scale, crash pad, and a state of the art stereo system.

The room is opened exclusively for NSU wrestling with combination key pad entrances. Most recently the room has seen the additions of the All-American board on the east wall and wrestling wall wrap on the south wall. In addition to practice sessions, Wolves wrestling hosts a variety of camps and USA Wrestling leagues from the facility. Youth and high school wrestlers from across the state of South Dakota and the midwest are able to learn from the best, in one of the largest wrestling rooms in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
