Aberdeen, S.D. – The Northern State cross country teams will continue their fall slate this Friday at the annual Roy Griak Invite put on by the University of Minnesota State. Race start times are set for 11:30 a.m. for the men and 12:15 p.m. for the women from the Les Bolstad Course.

NORTHERN STATE STORYLINES

• The Wolves enter the weekend after an off week following the SDSU Classic
• Northern tallied sixth (women) and seventh (men) place finishes from Brookings
• The men recorded an average time of 27:05.76 in their first 8k of 2023, while the women notched an average 5k time of 19:47.13
• Nathan Alto led the way for the men with a personal record time of 25:46.45 in 21^st overall
• Megan Pickering was the leader for the women with a personal record of 18:46.47 in 23^rd place
• The Wolves 2022 Roy Griak leaders were Jackson Harrison and Josh Martin for the men and Mary Franssen and Jennifer Clark for the women
